Throughout this course I believe my development as a writer did not disappoint. Thanks to this class I have a better understanding of what it means to be literate. One of the most important lessons that I learned is how to use rhetorical devices to get creative when expressing any sort of topic given to me. I believe the three essays I wrote throughout this semester have perfectly demonstrated my understanding of the goals I achieved in that aspect.

My language and literacy essay I expressed how imaginative I am when it comes to reading romance novels and applying them to the real world. 

In my rhetorical essay, I interpret how Saleem used ethos and pathos to gain empathy from the audience. He used the judgment he faced in his childhood as a way to get the audience to find him relatable.

Finally for my researched-argument based essay I discuss the topic of how writing can affect one’s anxiety levels using my research.

In conclusion what makes someone a good writer is not only their credibility of the information they provide, but the way they deliver what is truly important
